Product Design Experience
Stevenage Town Centre Project
My client for the town centre project was Russell Sparrow from Stevenage Borough Council. I was commissioned to design a pubic seating area in Littlewoods Square in the town centre. This project allowed me to develop my research and interaction skills with my client along with giving me experience in sketching, model making, workshop skills and CAD.
Clean Water and Sanitation Project
Here I developed my base for sustainable design and sparked my interest in developing projects for less stable areas. I presented a waterless toilet to improve hygiene and sanitation levels in Sierra Leone in response to the United Nations global act. This project allowed me to explore an area I am not familiar and in turn allowed me to improve my research skills, like ethnography and utilising secondary information.

Sony Lighting Project
The Sony A700 I designed was developed to aid photographers with using and manipulating light when taking photographs. I worked using Sony's style for this project as a way of expanding their brand and market. This project allowed me to develop my researching abilities and work closely with a companies aesthetic and values and develop a product.
Achievements
National Citizen Service
In the Summer of 2014, I took part in the National Citizen Service (NCS). I really enjoyed it as I got to meet new people and boost my confidence. We worked on a project to build a sensory garden for a home with disabled children which I felt helped me give back to the community and improve my skill of working with others.

Extended Project Qualification
In my first year of sixth form I carried out an Extended Project Qualification. EPQ really complimented my ability to implement a project individually and to carry out detailed research and referencing. It helped me to improve my
time management and writing skills.
